I fully understand that life happens and does not take into consideration important hair appointments!

I do require 24 hours notice to cancel your hair appointment. Please contact me by email to cancel your appointment. If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, a rebooking fee of $30 per service booked will be due before another appointment can be scheduled. I appreciate your consideration of my time in giving me advanced notice. If you do not cancel or show for your appointment, rebooking fee of $50 per service booked will be due before you can schedule, and a credit card will have to be on file for future appointments.

If you are running late, please know I will do my best to accommodate you. However, if you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to alter your services or reschedule, so that it doesn’t affect the following scheduled appointments. If a guest is unable to be accommodated due to tardiness, you will have to forfeit your appointment and you will be charged a $50 rebooking fee.

I strive to implement a thorough consultation process to ensure you love your hair 100%! Please contact me within 5 days if you are unhappy with your hair service. I realize sometimes something just needs a slight adjustment. I will immediately discuss and/or meet with you to determine what steps need to be taken to ensure you are completely satisfied with your service. Complimentary corrections will not be granted to clients who have changed their mind about the original service they chose and/or if they have altered their hair by another salon or at home. During your consultation, we will discuss your hair history and goals for this appointment. It is the guest’s responsibility to be honest & upfront about their hair history and health conditions. Any issues caused by not disclaiming this information during the consultation is not the responsibility of Kathleen Collingwood. Kindly note, pictures are a wonderful reference, but not everyone’s hair is the same. With this in mind, your hair may not always look exactly like your photo inspiration, and it may take a couple of appointments to get you to your goal hair!

 Illness Policy

If you or a family member have been sick in the past 72 hours, please contact me by email or text to reschedule your appointment. I will do my best to get you rescheduled in a timely manner. Please do not come to your appointment if you or anyone in your household has the flu, Covid-19, or any other illnesses. I appreciate your consideration of my health and the health of the community by staying home.

Guests, Visitors and Children

Due to the size of my studio, I ask that you do not bring additional visitors or children to your appointment. Hot tools, shears and chemicals are a safety concern for little ones. I want your salon experience to be a focus on self care and a time to pamper yourself!
